Start free with the Basic plan. If you need more viewers, Grasshopper parameters, piece search, voice commands or sun studies, move to Pro. For faculties, there is a classroom plan.

E-SPACE is in beta and is not for sale yet. Prices are being defined and so they appear as “on request”. People who join the beta by invitation use Pro for one month at no charge and then move to the Basic plan, which is free. What is described below is what we will offer when sales open.

Rhino and Grasshopper work in full on every plan: the limits are only on what you do with the viewer. The computer's web viewer and the phone app follow the same rules as the Quest.

How the license works

  • Every plan uses an account, including Basic: you create it for free with your email and a password, or with Google.
  • The license lives in Rhino. You sign in from the E-SPACE panel and Rhino tells the viewers which plan you have. The Quest and phone apps do not need their own account for now: someone who only looks needs nothing.
  • It will be charged per person who uses Rhino (per seat), not per viewer.
  • The seat is taken when the session opens (EsSync) and returned when it closes. An internet connection is needed to verify the account.
  • If you change plan with the session open, the viewers update by themselves.
  • When sales start, the subscription will be charged, renewed and cancelled through a payment provider that also issues the invoice. See the terms of use and the refund policy.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to create an account for the free plan?

Yes: every plan uses an account, including Basic. It is free and is used to verify your license.

Can I try Pro before paying?

Yes: people who join the beta by invitation use Pro for one month from their first sign-in, at no charge. After that they return to the Basic plan, which is free and does not expire.

How much does Pro cost?

It is not defined yet: the beta is not charged and prices appear as “on request”. When we open sales we will publish them here.

What happens if the internet goes down?

A session that is already open keeps working for a few minutes. To open a new session a connection is needed, because it is how the account and the seats are verified.

How many computers can I use with a Pro license?

A Pro license is for one person. You can install E-SPACE on more than one computer, but only one is used at a time per license.

What happens to my files if I change plan?

Nothing: you do not lose your Rhino or Grasshopper files, because we never store them. Only the viewer's features change.

Do you have student discounts?

We are building educational terms for students and teachers with an institutional email. See the education page or write to us from Contact.

Faculties and studios

The Classroom plan is for a faculty or workshop that wants many people to use E-SPACE at the same time, each with their own computer. It includes an administrator teacher who adds and removes students and sees who is using the seats. It is sold by invoice and each seat's session travels over the classroom network.
