Terms of use
The rules for using E-SPACE and its plans. They are written to be understood.
Last updated: November 2, 2026.
Who we are
E-SPACE is developed by Arch. López Emanuel M. (Computational Designer), owner of E-SPACE (“we”). Contact: [contact email].
What E-SPACE is
E-SPACE is a set of tools that shows Rhino and Grasshopper models in mixed reality (Meta Quest 3), in augmented reality (Android phones) and in a web viewer: a Rhino plug-in, Grasshopper components, a server, and the viewer applications. These terms apply to that whole set, together with the privacy policy and the refund policy.
By installing or using E-SPACE, or by creating an account, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
Your account and license
- Every plan uses an account, including the free Basic one. The account is created with an email and a password, or with Google, and is managed by an account provider.
- The license is personal and non-transferable. A Pro license (including the beta trial one) is used by one person. Do not share or lend it: the session takes a seat, and it cannot be used in more than one place at once per license.
- The Classroom plan includes a number of floating seats for an institution, used by the students and teachers the institution adds.
- You are responsible for the activity of your account and for keeping your password safe. Tell us if you think someone used it without permission.
- We give you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use E-SPACE according to your plan. We do not sell you the software.
Plans, beta and payments
- Nothing is charged today. E-SPACE is in beta and is tested by invitation, at no charge. People who join use the Pro features for one month from their first sign-in and then move to the Basic plan, which is free. We do not ask for payment data.
- When we open sales we will publish the plans and prices, and these terms will be updated before charging. We expect Pro to be a monthly or yearly subscription that renews by itself until you cancel it, sold through a payment provider acting as merchant of record (it calculates taxes and issues the receipt), without us seeing your card details.
- Classroom plan. It will be contracted by invoice, for one year, on the terms we agree in writing.
- Refunds. See the refund policy.
Permitted use
You may use E-SPACE to work with your own models and those of your clients. You may not:
- copy, sell, rent, sublicense or distribute E-SPACE, or share your license;
- try to get around the limits of your plan (for example, the number of viewers or seats) or tamper with the license;
- take apart, decompile or extract the code, except as the law allows even if this contract says otherwise;
- use the service to harm, overload or gain unauthorized access to other people's systems;
- use E-SPACE for anything illegal.
Accuracy and liability
- Always check critical measurements with your profession's methods before building, cutting, drilling or fabricating.
- Use the headset with care. You are seeing a mix of the real space with virtual objects: pay attention to obstacles, level changes, scaffolding, machinery and the people around you. Do not use it while driving, at heights without protection or where safety requires seeing without distraction.
- The software is provided “as is”, with no warranty that it is error-free or fit for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, rework, damage on site or decisions made from what E-SPACE shows. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for E-SPACE in the 12 months before the event (during the beta, which is free of charge, that amount is zero). This does not limit rights that consumer protection law does not allow to be limited.
Ownership and your files
- Your models are yours. We claim no rights over your Rhino or Grasshopper files. The server only passes them between your computer and your viewers and does not store them (see the privacy policy).
- E-SPACE, its code, brand, logo and documentation belong to us and to those who license them to us. Rhino and Grasshopper are trademarks of Robert McNeel & Associates; Meta and Meta Quest, of Meta Platforms, Inc.; Android, of Google LLC. E-SPACE is independent and is not affiliated with them. To use E-SPACE you need your own Rhino 8 license.
- If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve E-SPACE without owing you anything for it.
Beta version
E-SPACE is under development. Features, plans and prices may change, and there may be errors. What appears in What's next is a plan and not a promise. During the beta we may ask you for feedback on what works and what does not, and we may change or end the trial access with notice. The beta may be interrupted or saved settings may be lost: do not depend on it for critical work without an alternative.
Suspension and end
You may stop using E-SPACE and close your account whenever you want (write to us). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice when possible. If, once there are sales, we close a Pro account without you having broken anything, we refund the unused part of the paid period.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. If the change is important we will tell you by email or in the E-SPACE panel before it takes effect; if you keep using E-SPACE afterwards, you accept it. The date above says when they were last updated.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. For any dispute, and without prejudice to the rights the law gives to consumers, the competent courts of the Argentine Republic will have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms cannot be applied, the rest remains valid.
