We are opening the E-SPACE beta, by invitation
E-SPACE can now be tried. It is a beta by invitation for studios, students and faculties, and those who join use Pro for one month.
The E-SPACE blog and what is coming: what it does today, what we are building and what we are thinking about for later. No promised dates: the order may change depending on what we learn in testing.

With QR markers, by hand or on a table: what each one does, how accurate it is and when to use it.
Each item has a label: Done it works and has been tested · In progress we are building or testing it · Planned decided and designed, still to be built · Idea thought about, not decided.
Testing E-SPACE with studios, faculties and students, with one month of Pro for those who join. It is not for sale yet: first we learn. Request access.
Every plan uses an account, including the free one. The Basic and Pro levels already work; we continue with signing in from Rhino and with defining the prices.
Completing what the Quest tells Grasshopper: the headset position, gaze, hands, pointers, QR codes and environment, for the Get components.
Testing on a real wall with 100 to 300 pieces and 4 to 6 QR codes, measuring the real error, and measuring smoothness with the full model (the goal is to hold 60 frames per second with about 4000 pieces).
Say a piece's code and have the viewer highlight it, switch layers on, change the view and move a parameter. It is a Pro feature that uses a Meta service to turn voice into text (see the privacy policy).
Mark pieces as placed (by voice, by looking at them or by course): pending ones show as an outline and placed ones as solid green. A log (piece, date and time, who and from which device) for the site report.
Group fixed pieces into a single mesh with one color per piece, and make changing a piece's status a lightweight message.
Publish the Quest app in the Meta store. Today it is tested through a private channel.
An installer with a logo that installs the Rhino plug-in and the phone app over a cable.
Work also when the viewer and Rhino are not on the same network, with our own cloud server.
Let whoever manages the license see who connects and decide what each person can do, and have every change linked to whoever made it.
Hide the model behind real objects using the Quest's depth sensor. Today the Wireframe and Edges views solve it.
Measure distances in the viewer and leave notes and photos attached to pieces or points of the place.
Save the model on the device and sync when the network returns.
Today the viewer apps are in Spanish only; English would be the first new language.
The phone app is installed as an APK today. Publish it on Google Play.
Rotate the piece with the controller joystick, like a gumball, as well as with your hands.
